Sorry to bother you all with this... Just wanted to re-iterate how the London Ultimate Session works, as I've had a few people asking if they need to sign up. All you need to do is: Show up on Thursday evening. Play Ultimate. There are always TWO games running simultaneously at LUS - one is a "league" game, the other is a "pickup" game. Anyone and everyone, whatever standard, is welcome to just show up and join in the pickup game. The league game on the other hand is a bit more serious, and for this you need to sign up with Neil Travers (neil@dreamer.demon.co.uk) in advance, who will put you on a team. That's not to say that the pickup game is a "cop-out", it's still a reasonable level game, just a little less intense. We may even get a third, smaller (5-a-side?) game going specifically for less experienced or beginner players, so that they can see much more of the disc than they would in the pickup gmae. If you have friends or collegues who would like to try Ultimate, bring them along. LUS happens at the north-west corner of Clapham Common, from 6:45pm (games start around 7:15) on Thursday nights. We had around forty players down last week. Full info on the web at http://www.kbw.co.uk/shotgun/lus/index.htm Thanks.
