Yep 6th Edition, very late, but then you aren't payin' me for this so
that's the way it goes.

St Patricks Day
Yep, we were there for " Paddy's Big Day Out" it was a good turnout
with plenty of free sandwiches and tea at Bewelys. The gospel was
spread to the masses and marked the arrival of Manja our charming
multilingual Slovenian addition to the Team.

3rd Dublin Open
Biggest turnout ever. 16 Teams with 2 Irish teams taking part. Pookas
and UCD. The RAIN chucked down for 3 days preceding and the tournament
looked in serious danager 0f being called off due the water logged
pitches. We kept our fingers crossed and prayed for good weather. It
didn't come so we bought the groundsman a litre of whiskey and he let
us play anyway. 4 pools of 4, Pookas won their group and UCD did
better than expected to finish 2nd in their group.
The Knockout began, Pookas won easily to establish a projected quarter
final with UCD. Unfortunately UCD lost a long low scoring game against
Whiplash from Warwick and so qualified themselves for he Plate.

Play stopped for the Saturday and things moved onto Keatings(Pub) for
this years Samba Extravaganza.
Things went well and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves befor heading
off to various nitespots.Just leaving a little urban inner city
friction encounter to be expirenced by the St Andrews Sorcerers team.

Sunday. Pookas kept going well until they met St Andrews in the
semifinals. 5 Nil down the team began to Play, but the Sorcerers were
too good to allow any major comeback and were deserved winners,
leaving Pookas to claim a revenge win over last years winners First
Touch 11-10 for third place(Played 7 won 6 lost 1)UCD meanwhile had
been successful too and reached the plate final. There however they
met a too strong Mad Culture from Glasgow and lost to finish a
credible 10th/16 (played 7 won 4 lost 3) Sorcerers became the 3rd Team
to win the Dublin Open, Easily beating a tired Janitors from Leeds.

the first ever frisbee pub quiz winners la la la. From there the

even more scrambled in Isoldes Tower.
