Eurotour B Event - British Tour A Event On behalf of the British Disc Golf Association and by kind permission of Dr and Mrs JTH Green we are pleased to invite you to: 20th BRITISH OPEN Disc Golf Championship Whitcombe Farm, Beaminster, Dorset =B7 July 18th and 19th, 1998 For the first time Britain's most prestigious tournament comes to Whitcombe - Britain's most challenging courses? Well, what do I know? But it does have two courses of eighteen baskets set over steeply rolling English countryside. And if you've ever spoken to those who've played here, you'll have heard of the Hypotenuse, Goolagong Dip, and the ferocious To the Knoll. Ever thrown a disc across a valley? Well you will at Whitcombe. This event attracts the finest players from Britain and, as part of the Eurotour, will also attract players from Europe and further afield. This is the premier event in the British Disc Golf calendar - you don't want to miss it! Playing Schedule Friday 17th July The course will be fully prepared for Practice Rounds at any time. 4.30pm random pairs, best-shot, doubles competition. Registration from 4.00pm. Saturday 18th July Registration closes at 9.30 am. Players' Meeting at 9.45 am. Two rounds of 18 holes. 7 pm - DIYBBQ - we provide the fire, you bring your own food. Sunday 19th July Round 3 starts at 9.30 am. Leading 5 players in Open Division play 9 hole final. Accommodation Camping £2.00 per person per night Summer House: £5.00 per person per night.
