Several years ago there was an 'active' ddc scene during which several tournaments were held in addition to regular get-together by a dozen or so players. You will definately get interest from the old hombres, redskins, lurkers and stan boys. In addition, playing any other disc sport definately improves your throwing skills thereby helping your ultimate- in which case, everyone should go ! By the way- not a bank holiday... ______________________________ Reply Separator _________________________________ Subject: DDC Author: Mark.Jj at lonn-unix-mime/DD.RFC-822=Mark.Jj@btinternet.com Date: 29/04/98 17:36 Hi Folks OK - out on a limb here. Am bored with Ultimate. (Only joking.) Seriously, ho wever, we are a family of sports and I would like to see it grow in that way. So, my request is this..... If anybody out there would be interested in spending one day - possibly August b ank holiday monday, but any other available time - in the UK's first DDC tournament let me know. If I get enough positive r esponse I will be spurred into action.
