To: All Midlands Ultimate Players

With the support of Leicester City Council, Red will be running a weekday
evening five-a-side league in Leicester this Summer. We attempted this
last year and got a pretty encouraging response (including live TV
interviews!) but a lot of the companies and groups which signed up
bottled-out at the last minute.

Learning from our mistakes, we have decide to establish a league with a
core of existing players from the region. We will also probably make a
small charge which will cover the cost of pitches and hopefully result in
a bit more commitment from entrants. Red could contribute players for
around four teams but to keep the event non-partisan well probably pick
teams out of a hat.

This is where you come in. At this stage all Im looking for is a show of
hands just to see what interest there might be from Midlands players (both
individuals and clubs). If you're going to be around during the summer let
me know.
