GB MASTERS
==========

Just a reminder that the first practice will be Sunday 7 December at 11am
at Warwick University (in Coventry).

On the 6 December we will also have an unofficial practice session with the
current Warwick Bears side for anyone who wants to turn up for the weekend.

The planned format for Saturday (which is the last weekend of term at
Warwick) will be a sort of coaching session with the 'old masters' passing
on knowledge and skills which they have honed over the eons they have been
playing to the latest batch of 'stars-to-be' at the longest surviving
British Ultimate club (this being their 21st season of uninterrupted
Ultimate at Warwick University). Plenty of pick-up Ultimate and fancy
throws, I imagine.

If any of the masters really do not know how to get to Warwick University
(or more likely their memory has completed dissolved in the excesses of
their miss-spent youth) - then please contact Wayne Davey (H: 01225 462
212; E: wmd4@student.open.ac.uk) or myself.

The meeting point will probably be the main Ultimate pitch alongside the
path to Tescos from 11am both days. This is best described as being down
the slope of the car park outside the central campus Sports Centre and on
the left as you walk towards the Cannon Park shopping complex. Inclement
weather might see groups sheltering in either the Sports Centre (if open)
or else the Cholo Bar of the Students' Union.

Hot and cold food should be available in the Students' Union and/or the
Rootes Reception building a short walk from the pitches - but as I have
mentioned above, this is the last weekend of term so services may not be
quite normal!

Future practices will probably be:

Sun 11 Jan
Sun 8 Feb
Sun 8 Mar

Sam Neilson (on behalf of Wayne Davey).
