Announcing the inaugural Mad Culture "its not really cold - you're just a big jessie" outdoor hat tournament. Before you can say ooyabeanieitsfartoofuckincold, Mud Culture are aiming to host an outdoor hat tournament in the first weekend of December. The aim of this tournament is to introduce many new players to the excitement of a tournament as well as allowing them to play with many other players, and to prove that outdoors isn't restricted to purely April-October. Venue - Glasgow, Scotland, south of the arctic circle. More details to be announced later. Date - 6/7th December Cost - minimal Weather - Okay we admit it is likely to be on the colder side of warm but the ground should not be frozen yet and it's really a lot more fun to play in the rain anyway! (who can honestly say Ross-on-Wye was a nice temperature?). Remember - footballers play at this time of year, surely we can't be outdone? Accommodation - not camping. floor space would be provided (concession to indoor players). Format - it all depends on the level of interest really. In the words of a famous Mr. Man "Nothing is impossible, no such word for me". It may be one day followed by something dfferent on the Sunday, it may be a full blooded two day event, it all depends on what people want to do. Entertainment. - of course there will be (including the possibiliity of unofficial disc golf at 3a.m. (orange discs considered unwise). Reasons - It'll be a laugh. Ideal for beginners. Pressure free Ultimate. Fairly central for most teams in the UK. (ok that last one may be slightly controversial). This is really putting out feelers to find out if there would be any interest in such an event. Let me know if you would be interested. Dave. Mud Culture
